How Veda AI approaches environmental responsibility, digital waste and client-funded climate action as we grow.
Veda is a digital business, but we still have a responsibility to think carefully about the impact of how we operate, what we build and how we grow. Our environmental approach is practical: reduce unnecessary waste where we can, build efficient digital systems, and fund measurable climate action through Ecologi as part of our client work.

Practical steps, taken early.
Veda AI helps businesses use technology more effectively, and we believe that responsibility should be part of how we grow. As a young business, we are not claiming to have solved everything. Instead, we are taking practical steps early: keeping our digital work efficient, avoiding unnecessary waste, and funding environmental projects through Ecologi as part of our client work.
We fund climate action as part of paid client work.
For every completed Business Efficiency Audit, Veda funds 20 trees and 1 tonne of carbon avoided or removed through Ecologi.
For larger client projects, we increase the contribution. Depending on the project and the Ecologi initiatives available at the time, this may include additional tree planting, carbon avoidance, carbon removal or habitat restoration.
Where practical, we may offer clients a choice of the Ecologi initiative they would like their project contribution to support. This might include projects in places such as the UK, Kenya, Brazil or other locations available through Ecologi.
After the contribution is made, we aim to share the relevant Ecologi certificate or confirmation with the client so they can see what their project has helped support.

- We aim to build efficient, purposeful digital systems rather than bloated, wasteful technology.

- We work in a hybrid way and use sensible, purposeful travel where it is valuable for the client relationship or project outcome.

- We consider responsible suppliers and partners where practical as the business grows.
- We review the environmental impact of our own site, assets and digital operations as part of ongoing improvement.
Honest about where we are.
Our Ecologi contributions are part of our environmental responsibility approach, not a claim that Veda AI is carbon neutral or net zero today. We do not describe the business, our services or our client projects as carbon neutral, net zero or fully offset unless that has been properly measured and independently verified.
We are working towards carbon neutrality as an ambition, with an internal aim to reach this by 2028. This is not a current claim or guarantee. We will only describe Veda AI as carbon neutral once our impact has been properly measured, reduced where practical, and independently verified.
We avoid using environmental language that overstates our impact. Where we refer to trees, carbon avoided, carbon removed or habitat restored, those figures are based on Ecologi records, certificates, widgets or other reliable project information.
How this policy is owned and reviewed.
This policy is owned by Veda AI leadership and will be reviewed at least annually as the business grows. We expect our environmental approach to develop over time, including how we measure our own operations, how we fund climate action and how we communicate progress transparently.
