Commercial leadership at Veda AI
Rian founded Veda AI in 2024 and leads Veda AI’s company strategy, growth, positioning, partnerships and client relationships. His focus is diagnosis before technology: understanding the commercial outcome and current operating context before deciding whether AI, automation, software or process change has earned a place.
He works between business owners, advisers and technical teams so recommendations remain commercially grounded and implementable. That includes shaping client discovery, clarifying the business case for change, structuring the engagement and ensuring the right capability is brought into the work.
Creator of the Veda AI CLARITY Method
Rian created the Veda AI CLARITY Method to give the group one consistent route from understanding a business problem through to technology delivery, adoption and evidence-led value review. The method connects commercial diagnosis with the practical decisions made by Veda AI, Veda Software, Veda Flow and Veda Labs.
The method has been reviewed and approved by Non-Executive Chairman of Veda Group Andrew Deeley, adding board-level challenge around its commercial logic, governance and use across the group.
From technical delivery to commercial direction
Rian’s background spans software development, digital products, automation and early-stage technology ventures. As Veda AI developed, his role moved increasingly into commercial leadership across sales, brand, partnerships, client strategy and the wider direction of the group.
That technical-to-commercial progression helps him translate between business ambition and delivery reality without reducing complex decisions to sales language or engineering detail alone.
